Our 4th was rather uneventful, but we still had fun. Mike took Emma to the local parade in the morning. She of course got lots of candy. She enjoyed wearing red, white and blue and even got her nails painted red (to be just like Grandma and Aunt Christy). Then they both went to get ice cream and see the fireworks that night. Aidan and mommy stayed home.

She looks so cute. I don't remember ever wearing "red" nailpolish on my hands but maybe she was referring to our painted toenails.
